Prayer To Break The Spirit of Poverty 2
Break and cut off:
In the name of Jesus Christ, I come before You on behalf of my family and ancestors to confess and repent for the following sins:
- We have committed sins related to money in ways that are not pleasing to God: engaging in money laundering, running underground banks, charging usury, making false promises for profit, committing fraud, stealing, robbing others of their possessions, engaging in corruption and bribery, using violence to collect debts, committing sexual immorality in exchange for money (Proverbs 5:10), selling Christian artifacts for profit, and exploiting the popularity of spiritual tours to Israel for financial gain under the guise of spirituality.
- Inappropriate use of money in daily life, such as soliciting prostitutes and gambling.
- Failure to fulfill the obligation of tithing: Lord, we ask You to break the spiritual devouring caused by our failure to tithe—where spiritual locusts have consumed our family’s finances. Forgive us for not serving You with joy and gladness when we were blessed with abundance (Deuteronomy 28:47).
- Worshiping false gods.
- Loving money and serving Mammon (1 Timothy 6:10): pursuing profit above all, trusting in wealth and one’s own efforts more than in God, being materialistic, and holding to a money-first worldview.
- Offering money to false gods: investing in or building temples or religious institutions of other faiths, or establishing ministries and organizations that serve other gods.
- Selling religious items related to false gods, or practicing witchcraft and sorcery to make money.
- The sin of selling one’s soul to false gods or the enemy in exchange for wealth.
- Lacking compassion for others: greed, stinginess, indifference toward the poor, oppression of the weak and needy, taking advantage of others for personal gain, being petty or miserly, cutting corners in work, withholding fair wages (James 5:4), and refusing to forgive others’ debts (Matthew 6:12).
- Earning unrighteous wealth: accepting bribes or ill-gotten gain through abuse of one’s position, engaging in drug trafficking, human trafficking, organ trade, giving false testimony to obtain unjust profit, and similar acts.
- Covenants and vows made with poverty: making agreements with poverty through choosing a life of begging, or vowing (or desiring) to become a monk, nun, or Taoist priest as a commitment to a life of lack.
- Various financial curses suffered: curses from witchcraft, curses from the shedding of innocent blood resulting in a life of wandering, bankruptcy, destruction, accepting cursed money, premature death, untimely or tragic death, the curse of not being able to enjoy the fruit of one’s labor, curses from dishonoring one’s parents (Exodus 20:12; Ephesians 6:2), and curses from coveting others’ possessions (Exodus 20:17), among others.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that all these curses are now null and void—they can no longer affect me or my descendants. In the name of Jesus Christ, I cancel every work of the spirits of curse. I have been set free from the curse and have entered into God's blessing.
In the name of Jesus Christ, I bind and command all evil spirits connected to these curses to leave me now and go to the place where the Lord Jesus commands you to go. You are not allowed to return, nor to disturb or harm anyone ever again.
Abba Father, I ask You to send Your angels to help me and accomplish all that I have prayed for. Thank You, Father. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
