The spirit of counterfeit

Pretending to be an angel of light causing great deception to people
And no wonder For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14 NKJV)

 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness whose end will be according to their works (2 Corinthians 11:15 NKJV)

This spirit pretends to be the Holy Spirit to deceive people The spirit of counterfeit is behind heresies and false religions causing people to think they are receiving revelation from God Once the evil spirit establishes a stronghold of heresy or false religion in the heart it is easy for people to resist the gospel The meaning of Lachish is fortress difficult to conquer The spirit of counterfeit often attacks brothers and sisters who are not well grounded in the truth and it is often accompanied by traits of arrogance, self righteousness and pride.

Concept:

"Counterfeit spirits" use other people's names or brand names to disguise themselves as angels of light, which greatly confuses people; behind heresies and paganism are counterfeit spirits, which make people think that they are receiving revelations from God. Once evil spirits establish a heresy or pagan camp in people's hearts, it is easy for people to resist the gospel, so the meaning of Lachish is "strong and difficult to attack." "Counterfeit spirits" often pretend to be "the presence of God" and mislead victims under the cover of this curtain. The word "counterfeit" means to replace the real with something fake. Manifestations include: receiving wrong revelations, various failures and desolations, pride, self-centeredness, easy to be offended, confusion, mental disorder, resistance to the gospel, wrong cognition and understanding, narrow-mindedness, easy to compete, etc. In fellowship, worship, and visions, they live completely in a certain "inward" relationship, divorced from reality, resulting in extreme and excessive introspection in the spirit, narrow-minded views on things, and finally paralyzed spiritual and psychological abilities. Some people become victims of the "inner voice". They only listen to the inner voice and regard God as an inner "person". As a result, their minds are completely focused inward, and they pay no attention to the outer character, behavior and actions. In fact, if we only subjectively place God in the position of indwelling, speaking, communicating and guiding from the material or conscious aspect, there is great danger, because the dark forces will use this belief to confuse people.
