The Spirit of Witchcraft

Enables a person to control others through the practice of witchcraft (including soulish prayer).

When a person uses psychological techniques or interpersonal relationship means to control the will of others, it is the power of the soul; when a person uses the power of evil spirits to control the will of others, it is the power of the spirit; even if it is the power of the soul, it will leave room for the spirit of witchcraft and be affected by it.

Among the seven tribes of Canaan, the Perizzites (inhabitants of unwalled countryside) also represent the spirit of witchcraft.

There are two main categories:

1. Black magic: It occurs among non-Christians and is a form of evil spiritual power that manipulates or controls human beings through curses, magic, spells, incantations, music, drugs, blood or soul contracts, and other cult rituals.

This kind of witchcraft is incorporated into certain religions and appears in various forms around the world. The purpose of this evil witchcraft spirit is to control geographical areas, natural phenomena or humans in order to accomplish their dark purposes. For example, witches use evil spells such as falling heads and piercing dolls to release curses on people; mainly in Southeast Asia and Africa, this kind of witchcraft curses people through mediums and puts people to death.

2. White witchcraft: Common among believers, it is to impose one's own ideas on others, violate people's free will and life, and force people's will on others to achieve selfish purposes. Through the operation of the flesh, manipulation, control, violation of the boundaries and scope of authority, establishment of illegal authority, even cold aggression, violation of the law of love, in the church or the body of Christ, usually through influential members, to achieve the purpose of controlling or manipulating pastors or congregants.

It manifests as:

1. Behaviors of witchcraft practitioners: using crying, pressure, or even gentle methods, emphasizing emotional bondage or intimidation such as emotional relationships, threats, pressure, judgments and criticisms to achieve the purpose of manipulating, controlling, and influencing others.

Some people who practice witchcraft walk in the control of fear. If they continue to walk in fear, they will not be able to overcome some leaders with spiritual authority, and may even suppress the gifts and callings of others. If they continue, they will be accompanied by other powers such as rebellion, witchcraft, deception, manipulation, and control. The most serious consequence may even lead to death, such as Saul.

2. Symptoms of those under the influence of witchcraft: Confused thinking, inability to make decisions, and wanting to seek the controller's approval again and again, and being unable to freely express their own thoughts and opinions, and having an unexplained sense of hatred and anger, inability to make decisions, feeling rejected, isolated, lonely, depressed, frustrated, loss of vision, guilt, loss of joy, lack of vitality, self-accusation, despair, and suicidal thoughts.
3. Physical manifestations: frequent dizziness, headache, tinnitus, back pain, knee joint pain, heart pain, body tremors, nausea, vomiting, etc.
4. The severity of the effects of witchcraft is in the following order: discouragement, confusion, depression and guilt, loss of vision and future direction, withdrawal and no longer wanting to contact, disappointment and despair, feeling defeated and controlled by the enemy and giving up on one's own ideas and persistence.
